      In the Nineties, the efforts of the research for implementing and
      developing alternative, non conventional patterning methods have been
      focused on an important classes of technologies: the Soft Lithography,
      proposed by G. M. Whitesides and coworkers at Harvard University in
      1998. These methods are characterized by the use of elastomeric stamps
      to transfer a previously prototyped master pattern onto a target
      material, and they work effectively on very different length scale (from
      tens of nanometres to many centimetres)....
