      Then the kettle admits to its blackness? Perhaps the kettle would like to
      work on this while it's expecting the pots to do so. If the kettle wants
      to continue as a respected member of this list, perhaps the kettle might
      also wish to consider acceding to the original request, which was not rude
      at all.
