In The Two Towers, when Frodo and Sam are climbing down the cliff (right
before they meet up with Gollum), Frodo falls and thinks for a little while
that he's lost his vision. Is that ever explained? Did he just have a knock
on the head, or is there some metaphorical significance, or what?
