        $1133 per square foot?! THAT's pricey! I was reading up on the architect and he owned property that would have had its view impeded if *this* property had been normally developed, meaning an above-ground home. He's been renting out the two small units since building them in 1975 - for something like $1200/mo - so I suspect when the property is sold, it will be for the *land* itself, rather than these charming underground homes.

        Sad, really, but a fiscal reality.
