      today, full of good things as usual. Of particular note, in addition
      to the always-excellent review section and ever-impressive "Year's
      Work in Tolkien Studies", is the republication here, for the first
      time since 1932, of Tolkien's philological essay "The Name 'Nodens'
      ". Congratulations to all the editors and contributors.
