I'd like to serve on the Inklings and fantasy scholarship committees again.
One book I would not nominate (anti-nominate? Khazad-dum-inate?) is I Am In
Fact a Hobbit, by Perry Bramlett. Any book that gets into print with the
word Marched substituted for the word Mirkwood the whole way through ...
well, sloppy proofreading can indicate deeper problems!

2004 Mythopoeic Awards Announcement
Members of the Mythopoeic Society are invited to join the
committees which choose the Society's annual Fantasy and
Scholarship Awards, and/or to nominate eligible books.
Nominations (no more than five books for each award, please)
and requests to serve on the selection committees should be
sent by February 29, 2004 to the awards administrator:
