He is a founder member of the Movement in India for Nuclear Disarmament (MIND) and  the Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament and Peace (CNDP) which is active with solidarity work in support of Palestine and in opposing the US invasion of Iraq.

      Reverend Dr Stephen Sizersizer

Dr Stephen is the vicar, or senior pastor, of Christ Church, the community church of Virginia Water in Surrey, UK. He obtained his MTh (distinction) from Oxford University in 1994. His 2004 PhD thesis examined the historical roots, theological basis and political consequences of Christian Zionism in Britain and the USA from 1820. He has an extensive international ministry, teaching regularly in churches, seminaries and universities in the USA, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

He is a Trustee of the Biblica Ministries Trust, who sponsored and published the New International Version (NIV), the most widely read Bible translation in English. He is the author of three books, In the Footsteps of Jesus and the Apostles,  Christian Zionism: Roadmap to Armageddon and Zion’s Christian Soldiers: The Bible, Israel and the Church.

Dr Stephen specialises in the historical origins of the Arab-Israeli conflict, the political agenda of Christian Zionism which shapes US foreign policy and its destructive impact on the Palestinians. His new film “With God on our Side” www.withgodonourside.com; exposes the errors of Christian Zionism in the US and provides a fascinating insight into the US infatuation with Israel and how it can be deconstructed. He believes that Christians, Muslims & other faith communities have much in common and can work together in our common cause for justice, peace and reconciliation in the Middle East.
