Palestinian Iraqi Refugee on Voice of Palestine
Voice of Palestine, Canada will be interviewing a Palestinian Iraqi refugee Tuesday evening Dec. 1, 2009 between 8:00-9:00pm (PST). He is from three Palestinian families who have been sponsored by private Canadian individuals and organizations. The Canadian government meanwhile refuses to officially sponsor any Palestinian Iraqi refugee (see http://ccrweb.ca/en/bulletin/09/03/25). We will talk about the situation of the Palestinian refugees in Al Hol camp located on the Syrian side of the border with Iraq, the horrific conditions they endured and their trip to Canada.
