      FACULTY VACANCY. Teacher of music history and musicology.

      Teach courses within a three-semester music history sequence for undergraduate majors; graduate music history courses; non-major general education courses; and music aural skills as needed. Advise students. A program of significant scholarly research and service to the university community and profession is expected. Full-time tenure track 9 month appointment at Assistant Professor beginning August 23, 2005. $40,000. PhD required. Specialization in music after 1750. Dynamic teacher with a record of university teaching excellence. An understanding of innovative teaching methods and techniques incorporating current technology and online distance education. Search ends and screening begins January 20, 2005. Include a letter of interest, resume, statement of teaching philosophy, official academic transcripts, and three recent letters of recommendation.
