SOCIETY OF FELLOWS IN THE HUMANITIES
POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS 2002-2003
THE COLUMBIA SOCIETY OF FELLOWS IN THE HUMANITIES, with grants from the
Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the William R. Kenan Trust, will appoint a
number of post-doctoral fellows in the humanities for the academic year
2002-2003. Fellows newly appointed for 2002-2003 must have received the
Ph.D. between January 1, 1996 and July 1, 2002. The stipend will be
$37,000, one half for independent research and one half for teaching in the
undergraduate program in general education. An additional $3,000 is
available to support research.
