JOB: Musicology, Marywood University
- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, MUSIC DEPARTMENT
MUSICOLOGIST: Marywood - a Catholic comprehensive university, announces an
opening for a Musicologist. Assistant Professor, nine months, full-time,
tenure track in a highly respected NASM accredited music department.
Successful candidate will have teaching responsibilities in both graduate
(Bibliography and Musicology) and undergraduate (History of Music and
Ethnomusicology) schools. Candidate must be able to direct graduate theses
in musicology. Ph.D. degree preferred; A.B.D. considered. Expertise in
string instruments or music therapy advantageous. Prior university
teaching experience and demonstrated record of scholarly activity
desirable. Preference given to candidates who can support and promote
diversity within our programs and the university. Position available Fall
