JOBS: adjuncts, music history, music of the world, Univ. of Southern California, Fall 2006
- The Thornton School of Music of the University of Southern California is searching for one or more lecturers (adjunct faculty) to teach classes in music history and music of the world during the fall semester 2006. The semester begins on August 21 and ends on December 13. The classes deal with a variety of periods and subjects in the study of music (including world music).
Qualifications include a PhD in musicology or ethnomusicology in hand or near to completion; a record of recent, successful college teaching; and activities in the profession (including research and publications).
Compensation will be computed on a per-course basis.
