It appears to be 428H chain. I had to use my calipers, micrometer, and scale to figure it out finally. http://www.tycchain.com.tw/E/body.php?web=14&PNo=2006012873

The plate thickness on mine is 0.077".

Keith, thank you for helping me with this.

      Hi Gordon
I have some # 40 roller chain, I will check it out and get back tomorrow with some
       sizes.
The roller looks wide at 0.331, and the pin size seem too big.
Could you have the wrong master link?

Last year, I bought some motorcycle chain for my kinetic sculpture. I did not know at the time that it was not ANSI #40 chain. It fits perfectly with ANSI #40 sprockets, but does not fit with ANSI #40 master links. Here are the dimensions of the chain: Pitch: 1/2" 12.7mm Roller Width: 0.331" 8.44mm Inside Width: 0.315" 8.00mm Pin Width: 0.175" 4.44mm The chain is stamped "TYC" Could someone identify this chain for me and perhaps point me to some offset links for it? Thank you, Gordon Haag
