Montreal Techwriter Forum Posting Rules (updated July 2012) ======================================= Greetings! This is your monthly reminder of the firstname.lastname@example.org
- The Montreal Technical Writers Forum!
Sponsored by Documentia Inc.
This list is a place where we can discuss issues relating to the technical writing profession and everything else in-between! While the membership may weigh heavily with Montreal/Quebec-based writers, anyone can join in on the discussion, regardless of where they are from!
If you’re a technical writer, editor, indexer, teacher, student, or just someone interested in the technical writing business, share your expertise, education, and experience with us as a writing professional.
This list has grown to over 300 members and is still bringing people in by leaps and bounds. The traffic tends to be low, but it can peak if someone brings up a good topic. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable, so feel free to ask anything you like. We'll do our best to help you out.
This list is largely unmoderated which means that your posts should generally appear on the list without impediment. (new members are moderated automatically).
However, if you violate the posting rules, your future posts may be moderated. Please see the posting rules in the Files section of this website.
DO NOT send unsolicited mail to the members (spam) or place any kind of spam in any of the other areas on the website (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mtl_techwriter). Doing so can result in your immediate removal from the list.
If you have a contract/job offer to post to the forum, please place JOB or CONTRACT (all caps) followed by a brief description of the position in the subject header.
