Responsible for supporting local and remote end
users (customers), resolving Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, general networking and hardware/device related problems or questions. Systems Support Technicians perform troubleshooting tasks, problem diagnosis and provide consultative support with the expectation of a 90% or higher First Touch Resolution Rate. The position requires a thorough knowledge of PC hardware and software components. It also requires the ability to assist the end user in the setup, installation, and configuration of desktop hardware and software. The ability to effectively communicate with and understand the customer's needs is essential.
· Must have excellent conversational American English skills.
· Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
· Preference will be given to candidates that have one or more of the following certifications:
· Microsoft Windows
certifications: MCTS, MCITP, MCDST
· Microsoft Office certifications: Microsoft Office Specialist
