      All,

      2012 DA14 could make an extremely close approach within about 0.1 lunar distances
      in mid-February of 2013. However, the orbital uncertainties will grow rapidly before
      next year's flyby, so please continue to observe it for as long as possible during
      the _current_ apparition as you can (and please report the astrometry, as always, to
      the Minor Planet Center). A lengthy arc of good astrometry now will faciliate
      recovery next winter prior to the encounter.

      2012 DA14 will be a very strong radar target at Goldstone in 2013, but only
      if the plane of sky uncertainties are small enough for us to point the telescope.
