      Here is an exciting postdoc opportunity, involving semantics in a broad sense. One's PhD does not have to be in Linguistics but may be in Philosophy, Logic, Computer Science, or Psycholinguistics. So please share with semantics colleagues whose degrees are not in linguistics as well.

      I asked Hana whether the Russian "Kandidatskaya" degree counts as a Ph.D. and she wasn't sure. But it can't hurt to start from the assumption that the answer is "yes". (I believe it does count as a PhD with respect to Fulbright grants.)

      Heinrich Heine University, Duesseldorf.

      --The main area of research is SEMANTICS and its interface with
      pragmatics, logic, philosophy of language and other areas of cognitive

      semantics of natural languages, including the
