Group Description

We are a historically based group that represents and gives honor to the men, women and children who, at their country's call, made the largest trek in U.S. military history.
These heroes accepted this call for volunteers in the Mexican War in 1846, after repeatedly being forced from their homes in several states- because of their religious beliefs.
To keep the memory of their sacrifice alive, we make appearences in parades, schools, encampments and historically based activities.

I have included some pictures of how the clothes and equipment looked back in the 1840's.
PLEASE do not think that you have to spend alot of money! These events that we participate in, have equipment to borrow, provided by some of the more established groups. Most of the clothing can be aquired very cheaply at thrift stores.
If you have any questions, E-mail me at belldorado53@yahoo.com
Please come join us, and have some wonderful experiences!
