Group Description

Welcome to the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation's (MHARF) Yahoo! social network group.

We are a group of folks supporting the rescue, care, rehabilitation, and placement of abused, abandoned, neglected, or unwanted horses.  The Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue is a registered non-profit organization, located in Zimmerman, MN.  It relies on donations of time, money, and supplies from its supporters to continue its humane mission. Of course, as with all rescue groups, volunteers of all kinds are always welcome! ♥

Many fun and informative fund-raisers are held each year, including the infamous Challenge of the Unwanted Horse (aka Trainers Challenge), a pony show, MHARF benefit horse shows, tack sales, eBay sales, training clinics/demos and more.

As a member of this group, you will be able to converse with other MHARF supporters and volunteers via live Chat, a Message Board, or through Email. You will also receive notices of upcoming events, alerts, time-sensitive information, MHARF happenings, and much more!

This list is carefully moderated to ensure the privacy of its members, and the content of the notices. In order to participate, you will need a valid e-mail address and all posts must be signed (first name + last initial). Also, to keep spam and spammers off the list, please write a few sentences about yourself in your request to join (-- an unfortunate necessity to avoid computer generated spamming). Lastly, please add us to your email address book, so that you do not miss out on any announcements.

If you have any questions about this Yahoo! group, please feel free to contact the Site Admin here.

We are looking forward to "meeting" you! :o)
