Group Description

Horology for Mini Lathes was founded by James Early to promote knowledge of clock building, particularly projects suitable for the 7X lathes found in many hobbyist shops.

With the loss of the founder, changes in views towards articles from Model Engineer magazine, and change in focus, we have expanded our reason to exist. We welcome all who are interested in the construction of clockwork related mechanisms. Folks of all skill levels are welcome, hobbyist or professional.

New members are moderated until making a few posts that are on topic. It is requested that postings are at least related to horology in some way, off topic content adds at least some humor or other value, and that extended off topic conversations be taken off group.

The only "rules" of the group are basically behave as you were taught in Kindergarten, be civil, and don't post illegal or material that is inappropriate for all ages. No flaming. You can differ with an idea, but don't attack the poster.
