      This week is Militaria Week. We honour the fallen and the unfallen. A man with a gun is a visual available to all and sundry. A woman with a whip is a very bad thing. Even Nietzsche thought so.
       
      Here's what you do. Try to think of a female, real or imaginary, who might make a good icon, e.g. the Virgin Mary, Mary Madgalene, Mary Goodnight, Ivanka Trump. Write a maximum of three sentences including as many nouns, adjectives and adverbs as you can. Score 5 points for every allusion worth referencing and send your composition to
