Although DeCarlo was chummy with Brando, she wasn't as nice to Pat Priest, who replaced Beth Owen as Marilyn Munster mid-season. According to Priest, DeCarlo cornered her and told her "There's one thing I want you to know young lady. Don't you ever upstage me!"
