      Hi,

Recently Kathy Shadrack posted that she purchased a greenish-leaved H. 'Lakeside Zing Zang' at the 2012 AHS convention in Nashville from Silbers-Ebert Nursery.

I asked Bill Silvers for a photo of the greenish-leaved H. 'Lakeside Zing Zang' he is offering.  He sent two photos, below.

      H. 'Lakeside Zing Zang' (greenish leaves)

      H. 'Lakeside Zing Zang' (greenish leaves)

Bill then sent a photo of true-to-type H. 'Lakeside Zing Zang' from his   streaked-hostas catalog.  (Yea, just streaked-leaved cultivars.)

      H. 'Lakeside Zing Zang' (true-to-type)
Do you think the greenish-leaved 'Lakeside Zing Zang' is sufficiently different from true-to-type 'Lakeside Zing Zang' to warrant a different name?

      Your opinions would be appreciated.

BTW, if you're interested in Bill's streaked-leaved hostas, the e-mail address is simply:

      streakedhostas.com   .
