For those of you who are book artists and/or publishers, you might want to
consider exhibiting at the conference in Los Angeles, which takes place 29
March - 4 April, 2001. The Exhibit Hall usually opens at noon on Sunday
and closes at noon on Tuesday. At the conference in Pittsburgh this year,
I attended a session called "Creative Multiples: Artists' Books as
Teaching Tools," which was attended by about 45 librarians. Most
libraries that collect artists' books also collect miniatures. JoAnne
Paschall of Nexus Press exhibited in Pittsburgh and said it was extremely
worthwhile for her.
At our first annual silent auction, someone had kindly donated some Iron
Bear Press titles. There was quite a bidding war, but I got two of them!
