  •  Good stuff here. You should also consider replacement motors. Belt drive it is trivial to replace the motor for whatever reason. On the gear head the motor is a bit more unique. The shaft is not a standard size for the case so you can't even buy an off the shelf replacement (AFAIK) but have to machine the shaft or make an adapter plate.
