My question, just submitted- Gov. Granholm and Mr. DeVos:

      ----------- BEGIN
"MI familes currently pay for business tax compliance costs - in the
price of products AND services, for example, when they buy a new car,
or get their hair cut. Rep. Sheen's MI FairTax proposal would keep
MI prices relatively level, while replacing the 6% sales tax, and
income and payroll taxes for businesses and individuals, with a
simple 8.6% consumption tax paid at the cash register. Families win
because workers no longer have MI taxes withheld from paychecks, and
they receive a monthy check that untaxes all spending to the poverty
level; businesses win, because MI becomes a tax free zone, and MI
wins because it becomes the destination state in America to set up
shop. Will either, or both, of you support FairTax restructing of
      MI's tax system?"

      ----------- END

If enough FairTaxers send questions, perhaps one of them will be
asked by Channel 7's moderators during the FINAL DEBATE on OCT. 16TH
at 8:00PM. Submit your FairTax question here:
