  • OK, so, I got this message, but I did NOT get the original message that Chris is replying to. So, clearly, some things are still messed up. From what I can put together, I'm missing a fair chunk of messages that are going to this new list. Who's server are we using, anyway? I'd assume we'd be on one of Degnan's boxes, but apparently not? -Ian On Wed, Nov 4, 2015 at 7:36 AM, Chris...

  • Festivus really isn't the place for working on projects, it's really more of a party. Festivus is where everyone just hangs out, plays old video games, drinks beer, and has a good time and goofs off. Now, that said, people have brought things to Festivus to play with/fix before - but it's definitely not the focus of the event. Fortunately, an Apple IIe is a simple enough machine...

  • Festivus is awesome, and you should definitely attend if you've never been. As others have said, some people bring kids earlier in the day, but by the night it's mostly just us geeks and fair quantities of alcohol. I always bring a vanload of television sets and vintage video game consoles for people to play, and it's usually a big hit. On a related note, if you have any particular...

  • Yeah - for sure! I'd definitely grab it if I was anywhere near by - I've been looking for one for a long time, they don't turn up often. -Ian On Sat, Oct 3, 2015 at 2:47 PM, Matt Patoray mspproductions@^$1 [midatlanticretro] < midatlanticretro@^$2 > wrote: I hope someone grabs this! • I haven't specifically decided on what I'll be working on, but chances are it'll be that Commodore PET. Maybe work on things that MARCH needs fixed, maybe I'll think of something else to bring. Does anyone want me to bother bringing my disk imaging machine? -Ian On Thu, Aug 13, 2015 at 5:16 PM, Jeffrey Brace ark72axow@^$1 [midatlanticretro] < midatlanticretro@^$2 > wrote: It would...

  • Urk - I feel bad if I made anyone else sick - definitely not my intention. And, I was on antibiotics at the time and had been told that I shouldn't be contagious. Apparently not. I'm a hacker, not a doctor. Anyway, I'm very glad I didn't kill anyone, and, Dave, I'm sorry if I got you sick! -Ian On Tue, Jun 16, 2015 at 9:21 AM, Matt Patoray mspproductions@^$1 [midatlanticretro...
