... The RICM has quite a bit of WANG OIS equipment that has never been tested. You would be welcome to visit and relive your past. -- Michael Thompsonmichael_atca_thompson
MARCH frequently asked questions -- updated Sept. 29, 2014 1. What is MARCH? MARCH is a user group for people who enjoy collecting, restoring, using, firstname.lastname@example.org
A followup to myself: never underestimate the adaptability of older folks. Neighbors over 90 use their laptop and broadband to watch YouTube videos of theirjeff_s_jonas
The group formed in fall 2004. Our mission is to collect and preserve vintage computers; to educate and inspire; and to have fun! We strive to restore vintage computers to working condition as much as possible. There are not organized meetings or a printed newsletter -- our communications and updates are via the message board in this Yahoo group and on Facebook . However we often gather for exhibits, parties, tech days, swap meets, etc. After signing up for our group, please send a "Hello world" message to introduce yourself to us.
Got questions or comments? Email president Evan Koblentz: evan-at-snarc-dot-net. Note: MARCH does not have dues. We prefer the shareware analogy: we're cost-free, but if you like what we do, then please help with our continued fundraising. Our recommended donation is $20 per year, although we're grateful for every penny.
