Subject: Re: [midatlanticretro] OT: The Future is Wild & The Making of SporeYeah... I just turned that on around 9pm (missed first half). Got about 5 min in and they were talking about some giant jellyfish predator 100M years from now, and my wife was like "Why are we watching this? I hate these shows. Nobody knows what going to happen, and yet they always say 'This WILL be such and such' and 'In 100M years, this such and such WILL have evolved'. Turn something else on." LOL.She has a point. But - I find it entertaining anyway. I'll look the repeat that will inevitably be on at 11pm or overnight, and set it to record, and I'll watch it tomorrow while she's out.--Timster--PS - I heard about Spore about a year and half ago. It's taken forever to come out. Well, not Duke Nukem Forever FOREVER, but had numerous delays. For the last few weeks, you could download the creature creator from their website. I toyed around with it for a little while. I think this game has huge potential. Looking forward to it.This show is on Discovery Channel right now and is very interesting. It repeats at midnite. I had never heard of Spore until I saw an article in Tuesday's New York Times. Spore is a SIM game where you play God and guide evolution. Set your DVR.
