> According to the exhibiter (I don't remember his name) it is a form of memory.
> VCF 6.0 was in September 2009. VCF 7.0 was May 2011. VCF 8.0 was today May 2012. So there was an 18 month gap in the sequence but I believe the policy is to try to do it once a year.

Let's see ....
The first two VCF East shows were in 2001 and 2004. But they were run
remotely by Sellam in California, so they were only modestly successful.
It's hard enough running a show in your backyard, let alone across the
MARCH took over VCF East after that:
- East 3.0, May 2006
- East 4.0, June 2007
Then we decided to try our event later in the year:
- East 5.0, September 2008
- East 6.0, September 2009
We skipped 2010 because we all needed a break. We were out of fresh
ideas, and many of our usual exhibitors didn't have much new to show.
Also, both of my parents had serious health problems in 2010, so that
was obviously my priority.
By 2011 everybody was rejuvenated, so we moved it back to spring:
- East 7.0, May 2011
- East 8.0, May 2012
The last California show was VCF (West) 10 in 2007. If Sellam doesn't
get his show going soon, then we might pass him in numbering!
