2000 CES. We at PC Week / eWeek were hosting the party (the famous
annual "Spencer Katt" party for those who recall such industry events).
He was tired and sweaty from dancing with two tall blondes ... neither

- Wow I actually read that book. I got it for $2 from the Bank selling used books. A very good book. It goes into poor coding techniques and how there are better ways. It covers all topics, from coding, to laws etc. I recommend it as well !----- Original Message -----Sent: Thursday, December 03, 2009 7:14 PMSubject: Re: [midatlanticretro] Bill Gates
A good book for all to read is called: "The Software Conspiracy" by Mark
Minasi. I met and spoke with Mark a decade ago when his book was first
published. It's now available as a web download from the following site:

There are some rather poignant things in this book for *all* to consider.
It's not just bashing Micro$oft; it talks to the whole software industry
of the day. It's better than reading that idiot John Dvorak too! :)
