- Yes, we've got our issues with Bill Gates, but he's still part of
computer history. No, he's not speaking at VCF anytime soon. But CNBC
is showing an hour-long "Biography" special about him .... starting
right now, if anyone wants to watch.
- Wow I actually read that book. I got it for $2 from the Bank selling used books. A very good book. It goes into poor coding techniques and how there are better ways. It covers all topics, from coding, to laws etc. I recommend it as well !----- Original Message -----Sent: Thursday, December 03, 2009 7:14 PMSubject: Re: [midatlanticretro] Bill Gates
A good book for all to read is called: "The Software Conspiracy" by Mark
Minasi. I met and spoke with Mark a decade ago when his book was first
published. It's now available as a web download from the following site:

There are some rather poignant things in this book for *all* to consider.
It's not just bashing Micro$oft; it talks to the whole software industry
of the day. It's better than reading that idiot John Dvorak too! :)
