      The classic problem with using most consumer color TV's (or B&W TV's)
      for computer monitors, is that most TVs lack an "AC isolation
      transformer". The bottom line is that their chassis may carry AC line
      current, and that would become connected (through the video ground) to
      the computer. Nobody operates a TV by holding it; obviously you touch a
      computer. an "isolation transformer" isolates the AC power line from the
      chassis.

      Neil knows about this, of course - but MARCH members may not. A small AC
      isolation transformer might cost $15 or more.
