You couldn't figure out why your original 6502 didn't work when put back into the motherboard. Ian Primus discovered that the pins on the PETvet were too big and stretched the socket holes too much. We ended up soldering a new socket onto the motherboard so that you could put your original 6502 chip back into it.

      I did actually in some form or fashion, I forget how exactly. I will see what we have to do to deal with that problem. The PETVet is good for checking certain things, not so good for others. It would be useless for the Educator PET as this is a C-64 in a PET case.

      If you pick one or two systems to focus upon, we can determine what likely parts including sockets we'd need.
