      Manhattan Transfer meets Monty Python.
      Robin Williams meets Bobby McFerrin.
      J.S. Bach meets Jimi Hendrix.

Grammy-nominated vocal acrobats (and certifiable nutjobs) THE BOBS
return to the Eastern Seaboard next weekend for the "-TON TOUR" -
      Trenton, Binghamton and Boston!

Celebrating their 25th Anniversary of skewering the classics, breaking
all the rules and clear-cutting their own unique path in the world of
vocal music, The Bobs have played everywhere from Lincoln Center to Los
Angeles' Universal Amphitheater to Berlin's Passionkirche. They
recently appeared as special guests in Judith Owen & Harry Shearer's
Holiday Singalong at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
A documentary about the group, SIGN MY SNARLING MOVIE: 25 YEARS OF THE
BOBS is slated for release and festival appearances in early 2007.

The Bobs' endurance is trumped only by their unrivaled creativity as
they continue to infect audiences with their humor and musicality. To
quote a recent review, "At an age when most surviving pop groups
grind out a living with warmed over retreads of greatest hits, the Bobs
still shine, breaking new ground each time they tunnel out of the
sanitorium. The twin keys to the group's creative safe deposit box are
unflagging dedication to vocal excellence and utter disregard for
everything else. The Capitol Steps are occasionally as funny, and the
Roches and the Mockingbirds sometimes achieve similar a capella
      excellence."

The Bobs return to the War Memorial for this surprisingly intimate
acoustic series hosted by guitar great Woody Mann.

The Delaware River had overflown its banks a week prior to their last
engagement here, so they performed "Beluga" - a haunting chant about a
woman pining for a man who pines for whales. Two days after the
concert, a white beluga whale was spotted swimming up the Delaware. I
      couldn't make that up!

Central New York fans, rejoice! For years, you've been asking The Bobs
to come to your area. Well, they're coming!

For years, the Night Eagle was a wondrous acoustic oasis in Oxford, NY.
It literally just moved to a new space in downtown Binghamton. Help The
Bobs christen it properly with some audacious vocalizing.

YEAH! BACK IN BEANTOWN! Well, OK, Beantown-adjacent... Amy Bob's
already waxing Rhapsodic (in Blue) about a return to the scene of her
more well-spent youth (she's a Berklee gal) and Dan Bob hasn't played
here before, so come on down and show them your love!
