I can only guess that Yahoo IS eliminating old groups. At one time most of the Avonlea - Anne groups were on Yahoo, but since Facebook and Twitter and all - people have moved over to them and not used Yahoo Groups that often. I do know a few years back AOL deleted all their groups without notice. People were not happy. And, several old MM groups ( not on Yahoo) have been left so no one could post, then were deleted.
I do know that my Yahoo e-mail ( which I also seldom use - it is more of a back up email address) several years ago wanted me to "personalize" my account - add personal information, form friends lists, add photos just like we do on Facebook. I declined to do so.
LOL, as far as personalizing, I have very little personal information on my Facebook page, and almost never use my Twitter account :) I don't have Instagram or any of those other "social media" accounts. I think we give out too much personal information as it is, but that is only me.
As far as Sarah directing, I am not sure about that. Several years ago she did a "tell all" film about her family. I have not seen it, but apparently she exposed her family to all sorts of emotional "truths". Perhaps, too many truths?
