The solar activity has increased by a very small amount, as there is
one small sunspot region visible. At least the solar X-ray plot has
increased above the virtual flat-line that prevailed for nearly two
weeks, and there have been some small A and B-class flares. For the
last three or four days, the Earth has been inside of a high speed
solar wind stream coming from a coronal hole, and there is another
small coronal hole that is rotating into an Earth-pointing position.
The solar wind speed has been on the happy side of 650 km/sec,
althouth there hasn't been any auroral activity reported. There is,
however, the possibility of aurora in the higher latitudes, so keep an
eye out if you live in those parts of the world.

The current solar and geomagnetic conditions are :

      NOAA sunspot number : 34
      SFI : 82
      A index : 12
      K index : 3

      Solar wind speed : 662.3 km/sec
      Solar wind density : 1.0 protons/cc
Solar wind pressure : 0.7 nPa

      IMF : 3.7 nT
IMF Orientation : 1.3 nT South

      GOES-12 Background X-ray Flux level : A4

Conditions for the last 24 hours :
No space weather storms were observed for the past 24 hours.

Forecast for the next 24 hours
No space weather storms are expected for the next 24 hours.

      Solar activity forecast :
Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for isolated
      C-flares from Region 820.

      Geomagnetic activity forecast :
The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled.

Recent significant solar flare activity :
