The Earth has entered a high speed solar wind stream, but so far the
Interplanetary Magnetic Field has stubbornly held onto a
north-pointing orientation. Therefore, there hasn't been any
geomagnetic activity so far. That could change, however, so this
doead bear watching over the next couple of days. Hot on the heels of
this coronal hole is another one that has rotated into view. Look for
some effects from that one later on next week. There are several
sunspot regions visible on the solar disk, including a quartet of
sunspot regions which came into view all at one, which has served to
raise the sunspot number. None of the sunspots, however, show any
flare-producing potential at this time. That could also change in the
      days ahead, so stay tuned.

The current solar and geomagnetic conditions are :

      NOAA sunspot number : 214
      SFI : 186
      A index : 10
      K index : 2

      Solar wind speed : 510.7 km/sec
      Solar wind density : 1.8 protons/cc
Solar wind pressure : 0.7 nPa

      IMF : 10.1 nT
IMF Orientation : 8.5 nT North

Conditions for the last 24 hours :
No space weather storms were observed for the past 24 hours.

Forecast for the next 24 hours :
No space weather storms are expected for the next 24 hours.

      Solar activity forecast :
Solar activity is expected to be predominantly low, with a chance for
      isolated moderate activity.

      Geomagnetic activity forecast :
The geomagnetic field is expected to be mainly quiet to unsettled.
Isolated active periods are possible through the first day of the
forecast period due to coronal hole effects.

Recent significant solar flare activity :
      None
