From the looks of the solar wind speed, the Earth is currently inside
of a coronal hole high speed solar wind stream, but there hasn't been
anything in the way of geomagnetic activity. The Interplanetary
Magnetic Field has been holding a north-pointing orientation, which
will have a tendency to supress geomagnetic activity. There are
several small sunspot regions visible on the solar disk tonight. Only
one of them, that being sunspot region 214, looks to have any
      flare-generating potential at this time.

The current solar and geomagnetic conditions are :

      NOAA sunspot number : 150
      SFI : 154
      A index : 10
      K index : 2

      Solar wind speed : 592.4 km/sec
      Solar wind density : 2.0 protons/cc
Solar wind pressure : 1.1 nPa

      IMF : 4.8 nT
IMF Orientation : 1.9 nT North

Conditions for the last 24 hours :
No space weather storms were observed for the past 24 hours.

Forecast for the next 24 hours :
No space weather storms are expected for the next 24 hours.

      Solar activity forecast :
Solar activity is expected to be at low levels. Region 212 and Region
214 are likely to produce C-class events.

      Geomagnetic activity forecast :
The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled. Coronal
hole effects are expected through day one of the period. The greater
than 2 MeV electron flux may exceed event threshold on day two and
      three of the forecast period.

Recent significant solar flare activity :
      None
