      Subject: [metalshapers] eBay SCAM ALERT

Somehow some sleaze has shut down my two recent 10 day auctions only a few hours ago which means they only ran approximately 4 days.   I contacted eBay immediately and was told the bad guys do this to make false second chance offers to bidders on the auctions.   If anyone contacts you about any payment for my Hossfeld bender or Stanley unishear you are being scammed, the auctions are null-and-void and will be run again at a latter date.   eBay is supposed to get back to me tomorrow and I will keep the group updated so members can avoid the same problems.   The bad guys must have had some pretty sophisticated equipment, the auctions closed within one second of each other.   It would be impossible for me to do that, there would be several minutes between the closings if I did it.   ~   John Buchtenkirch
