When in the midst of meditation,
whether or not we would assign
      this particular "activity" a value
      of precipitating cause, we come
to a perceptual shift, an awakening,
      a realization, an enlightenment,
      a new understanding, a dissolution
of our individual "I" (everybody happy?)
that entirely blows out all of
      our previously held precious concepts,
and we realize beyond a shadow
of a doubt that we have become
      fully self-realized, actualized,
      illumined, god-realized, have
      experienced christ consciousness,
      gone into nirvikalpa samadhi
      and settled into sahaj samadhi,
seen through the illusion of duality,
      reached nirvana, known the bliss
      of transcendent awareness,
      perceived that which is beyond
      the rational and sensory, and
      (re)awakened to our natural
      enlightenment, now recognize that
there is nothing that is not God
      and everything is in God,
and find that we are even
      capable of inspired work,
up to and including the writing
      incredibly long run-on sentences...
or have simply found an effective
      way to manage stress in our lives;
who outside of our own consciousness
can tell us what happened to us,
      other than by ridiculously naive
appraisal, and who can know the extent
or veracity of our report of our new
condition, let alone tell us which
      "page" we are on?

      That is the question.

      (Referencing Greg's 32 ways
to know and EO is not allowed).

      Namaste and love,

      Jeff
