- I'm not medically trained, but I don't see a connection between waking up
earlier and being depressed. I wake up earlier in the summer because the sun
comes up earlier. I also find I have more energy through out the day when I
get up when my body wakes up instead of sleeping in. Something to do with
respecting the sleep cycle my body requires.
