      Who is the wisdom whisperer?

In the techniques taught in the
      Mystic Heart School of Meditation
we are asked to follow quiet
      awareness with breath awareness,
and then move to the subtle
      practice of heart awareness...
      listening for the wisdom whisper
      from the heart.

      Other meditative techniques
are taught, and a healthy lifestyle
      is recommended, to improve
      our receptivity to 'hearing' the
      wisdom whisper.

      The wisdom whisper does not
      come in words. It sometimes
comes as a subtle flow of new
      perspectives - residing quietly
in the residual calm felt after
      a time of meditation.

Over time we begin to notice
      'things' and people - and
      ourselves - from a slightly
      new perspective.

      Sometimes even after the fact,
we reflect back to the way we
      reacted to some event and
how we handled it - realizing
      in retrospect that we handled
it with a new calm and equanimity.

      Those reflections are like watering
the inner lotus blossom - the
      flower of self-realization that is
      beginning to bloom from the
      practice of meditation and living
      a healthy lifestyle.

      Other times the wisdom whisper
comes as a startling and sudden
rush of new wisdom that no words
      are adequate to express. The
flower bursts into full bloom and
we are forever changed - right to
the core of our being. We have
      fully awakened.

In this 'race' both the rabbit and
the turtle win! It's just a matter
      of style.

So, who is the wisdom whisperer?

The inner divinity that is resident
in our heart, - a divinity that is
      renewed and refreshed with
      every breath.

Here's the way Prem Rawat put
it in a talk I heard recently:

"We are hosts and guests at the
      same time."

We are the guests of a host who
created our life, and this environment
in which we find ourselves living...

and at the same time we are the host
of this divine guest who resides in our
      very heart.

Be a perfect host, grateful and
appreciative of this life in every
      moment, with every breath...and the
      wisdom whisperer will bring you
a joy unspeakable, a peace that
      passes understanding, and a
delight in the show called life.

      One Whisper,

      Jeff
