      No offense, Jeff, but you are using as much dualism to interpret nonduality...and you criticise Buddha's teaching from a fledgling understanding of the deeper teachings. The fact that you believe all things to have some type of existence "in front of you" and like to attack the "illusory" way that they appear, show a deeper reality of the definition of parroting.
       
      Things are not illusions, they are LIKE illusions. Sit still long enough on the proper object and the "step-child" you are criticizing will turn out to be your mother.
