      Ramana said, "What is
      practice for the aspirant
      is natural for the liberated
      one."

      Once meditation "takes hold"
and a shift in perception happens,
      when that startling wisdom that
is the supreme goal of meditation
      suddenly appears, every moment
      of life becomes a meditation,
      every breath rides the waves,
      hangs ten, and roars with
      laughter at wiping out...

      And people around Bob Rose's
age can hear the soft beat of a
Beach Boys' song in the background
      of their every waking moment.

This is the meditative state; when
      virtually all sensory input and
      mental process is absorbed
in a joyful undercurrent of quiet
      calm and confidence.

The "Great Ones" abide in this
state. But even a taste can
      change a life.
