      Just wanted to share some Summer vegetarian recipes I found deeelicious. All amenable to
      imaginative modification. Sent with Love!

      BYRON'S RECIPES:
      BLENDER FRUIT DRINKS.......
      A.
      1 cup strawberries
      1 mango
      1 peach
      1 nectarine
      1 banana
      2 cups orange juice (oj)
      1 cup cranberry/raspberry juice ( don't use anything with a lot of grape juice in it)
      B.
      2 bananas
      2 peaches or nectarines
      1 mango
      1 cup oj
      C.
      1 15 oz. can pears (in juice not syrup)
      1/2 15 oz. can pineapple in juice
      1 peach/nectarine
      2 bananas
      1 cup oj
      D.
      1 mango
      1 banana
      2 peaches/nectarines
      10 oz. pineapple juice
      2 cups oj
      E.
      12 oz. blueberries
      15 oz. pears in juice
      1 banana
      10 oz. pineapple
      1 cup oj

      1 cup cran/rasp juice

      1 15 oz can pears in juice

      1 cup strawberries
      1 cup blueberries
      1/2 cup raspberries
      1/2 cup blackberries
      1/2 cup cherries
      1 banana
      2 cups cran/rasp juice

      AMBROSIA.......
      1 15 oz can chunk pineapple,drained, save juice
      2 sliced bananas
      1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
      1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
      1/4 -1/2 cup shredded coconut
      Mix 1/3 - 1/2 cup sour cream with 3 TBS Smucker's Sweet Orange marmalade, 2TBS
      pineapple juice, 1TBS oj. Add to above ingredients and mix well. Optional:mix in 1 tsp
      vanilla flavor or 1 cup mini-marshmallows. Eat in moderation!

      BLENDER `CREAM' SOUPS.......
      Asparagus:
      1 lb. asparagus spears
      1 medium potato
      1 medium zucchini (optional0
      1/2 -1 oz. butter
      3 1/2 cups water
      Wash asparagus, discard tough ends.Cut off tips. Scrub potato, cut into chunks ( scrub and
      cut up zucchini), simmer in water for 10 minutes. Add asparagus tips.Remove from heat,
      allow to cool for 5 minutes, add butter. Blend 1/2 of mixture at low speed, pour into
      container, then blend remaining 1/2. Stir and add salt and pepper to taste.
      Delicious hot OR cold.
      Broccoli:
      Same as above, except use about 1 lb. broccoli instead of asparagus.
      Broccoli -Red Cabbage
      Same as asparagus, but use about 3/4 lb broccoli, 1/2 lb red cabbage, cut up. Soup will be
      an unusual color- might range from lavender to brown.
