While I love the elegance of the White Wolf & Pheonix designs, this ( http://www.thescholarsgarret.com/loom/index.html) is the one I favour at the moment, but as always making something for the wife is always tense until I begin :-)

soft heddles for inkle weaving belong and all the warp threads go over the
upper left peg
You could also change the scale slightly on the beading loom here
http://www.finniwig.com/looms.htm - you'd need space for the warp threads
rather than beading threads (which are really tiny).
Finally, check ebay #230144475342 - this is a loom that is for sale...
I've also seen card looms with a rachet device at the ends for winding and
moving the warp.
