- There were two waxed tablets on display at the Danish National Museum: one
complete and fragments of the second.
The first (complete) one is a record of the land taxes for one of the five
quarters of city of Danzig, listed street by street. It dates from 1406-1440.
The second (fragments) is a merchants account book found in Copenhagen.. It
dates from 1350-1400.
In both cases the wax layer was only about a sixteenth inch thick.
