      Comment from the List Owner/Moderator.....

Please don't anyone take this the wrong way. I'm just trying to aviod
      a big broohaha over nothing.

I don't mind a few off-topic messages now and then.
( this list stays more on topic than ANY other list I'm on )

My shop is cold, even with the kerosene heater.
It's winter. ( really winter right now, ice and snow everywhere,
not like our normal winter's near Cincinnati.    )
I'm not spending as much time in the shop right now.
I need something else to keep me amused while I'm not
      making sawdust.

But, let us all agree to try to keep the subject lines accurate, please.

and I noticed a little 'adult'  language earlier, Let's try to keep that to a
very low minimum also, please. You can think it all you want,  just don't
      type it.

Please be courteous and keep it freindly.

      Dear Mssr. Lagerstein.. .
I'm greatly distressed by the fact that you are so disturbed... please accept my deepest personal apologies.
... but ya' know, some of us do enjoy the occasional diversion to remind ourselves that there really is some FUN in stuff...  and I find nothing particularly offensive in the occasional wander into the lands of silliness...  but, I'll get *serious* now, if you insist...
...  let's start with the suggestion that paying attention to the subject lines will help to avoid the 'wading' experience.. . something with "Batman" in the subject is probably not going to be a serious post and should therefore be avoided by anybody who wishes to only experience their serious side...

I find it quite disturbing that I have to wade through emails in order to figure out what's pertinent to why I joined this group.  I almost missed the important reference to the Roman Woodworking book amongst the barrage of batman bullshit.
