whether it be Secretary, Treasurer, VP, President, or simply as a
committee member. I've been in Marylandfor three years and I've only
attended a handful of group activities, but I definitely want to see
this group grow and contribute. I was involved with the Atlanta Peace
Corps group after I returned to the states and then the New

some of their frustrations with group involvement as well as some

the group then we can focus on: planning and communicating activities
with RPCVs throughout Maryland , reaching out to the Peace Corps
programs at Hopkins and UMBC, and contributing to volunteer/service
      opportunities here in
      > Marylandand possibly contributing to Peace Corps projects
overseas. I think our group has a lot of potential, it is just a
matter of motivating and keeping people involved. I'm sure we have a
number of RPCVs that have recently returned to Maryland or moved here
from other states, but either don't know about the Maryland group,
don't feel like they've been invited or included in activities, or
they just need a little encouragement to get involved. Like everyone
else, I'm busy with my family, work, and other activities, but I feel
a sense of obligation to be involved with this group. So, lets see
      what we can accomplish!

I'm super new to the list serve, I only returned from PC like 2 months ago -- but I'm definitely interested in getting more involved.  Someone who knows the deal with the whole board thing, or just overall involvement, definitely get in touch with me and let me know what that entails.
